NC Senate overrides Gov. Cooper's veto of HB600 (Regulatory Reform Act of 2023). The SELC described HB600 as the "polluters' wish list." The bill includes provisions that weaken water protections and wastewater regulations.

The EPA authorized Chemours to import up to 4 million pounds of GenX from their Netherlands facility.
